The Super Sumatran Orangutan Society

On Sept 16th 2015, at my school we wet to the auditorium to listen to the maker of the S.O.S. The Sumatran Orangutan Society. He told how they are endagered because of forest burning and palm oil. Also, bacause of the people hunting them because some people think they are pests to the forest. But, them S.O.S. helps the orangutan have nice homes in the forests where there is no harm. They also help the orangutans by cutting down illegal palm trees. And planting more forest trees for the orangutan to live in. So we help raise money with the swimathon to help the society tp get e money they need to get more seeds to grow in the forest. We mostly raise about 10,000 dollars to help the Socety. Orangutans need lots of acres of forest becuase they are very territorial.  So please help the orangutans.
